Questions and answers
- How much does a call to Israel cost with LapLine?
- The destination rate of the number you dial plus a small fixed per-minute price for the browser connection and the call bridge. Type the number in the dialer and it shows the total per minute before you call. You pay per started minute from a prepaid balance.
- Is it cheaper to call Israel mobiles or landlines?
- Mobile and landline rates differ in most countries, and Pelephone and Cellcom numbers can be priced differently from fixed lines. The dialer quotes the exact number, so compare the two before you call.
- How do I dial a Israel number from abroad?
- Drop the leading 0 and add +972: 050 123 4567 becomes +972 50 123 4567. The plus sign works from any country and from the LapLine dialer.
- Can I call Israel from my phone's browser?
- Yes. LapLine runs in the browser on a phone as well as on a laptop, and it can be installed as a web app. Calls to +972 numbers use Wi-Fi or mobile data, not the international minutes of your phone plan.
